Lewis wins, to the pleasure of the home crowd.
Nico is second, to the displeasure of the home crowd.

Meantime we get more spins, oversteer and four wheel drifts than we've had in a long time courtesy of the good old British summer.

RE: 50 words on the jolly old UK GP
Mostly serene progress for Hamilton, but "a light British sprinkle" before the start soaks Martin Brundle's trousers while turning Abbey Curve in to a random wall of death for most of the race.

Serious testicular fortitude and control shown by Max around the outside of the mighty Becketts was the highlight of a generally entertaining race, and it was good to see at last some stirrings of horsepower from the Honda powertrain.

Britney looks stressed...

Mark

Lewis wins from the front after leading for most of the race. The kid finished third and then second after Britney is penalised for being advised on how to change gear (wonder what he will do with that small dangerous looking trophy). It was great to see all the drifting going on from drivers like Sainz and Fred but it's time to rethink a few things like - all races should be wet - bring on Bernie's sprinklers - and radio messages should be allowed for technical input.
