Steve McQueen Le Mans documentary
I'm going to see this tomorrow in London. It isn't on very wide release and has slightly mixed reviews, but has to be worth a watch:

Your Computer is silver, sometimes. It will be on RFU soon. Not sure about this one, I hope it isn't all lovely dovey like senna.

RE: Steve McQueen Le Mans documentary
the reviews certainly don't make it sound lovey-dovey.

After downloading Windows 10 on one of my laptops, the screen randomly becomes black. I gave up on it for now.

Speaking of lovely dovey, the Senna movie reminded me of growing up with American television in the "old days"...

...at 10 pm, the stations would broadcast a message, "It's 10 O'clock. Do you know where your children are?"

At midnight, the following film was broadcast, followed by the national anthem:

Those were lovely days but are long gone. Now late night American TV is infomercials all night long.

I'm looking forward to the LeMans documentary. I hope it is great.

Has anyone discussed here the Paul Newman documentary "Winning - The Racing Life of Paul Newman" that came out earlier this year? I liked that one, but maybe I'm just too easy.

Wow. And I even commented on that thread. I must really be losing it. But, I did see it, and I did like it.

I found it scheduled on the Velocity channel, so I set it to record. On last week's episode of Jay Leno's Garage, he and Mario Andretti talked briefly about Paul Newman's racing career.

Unfortunately I don't get Velocity. I watched it on Amazon Prime.

A film with a very adequate ending ("[I...] touched the face of God"), since the Starfighter had a notorious safety record and was known in some parts of this world as The Widowmaker!

The Osprey has a terrible reputation, too. I live right smack in the line from the White House to Camp David. Obama's entourage comprises of two helicopters and a noisy Osprey. Flying low and slow causes my windows to vibrate for a good long minute, and the neighbors aren't too happy about having an Osprey directly overhead.

I've never seen an Osprey.
