Nasir at Donnington Park
A good time was had by all at this weekend's round of the BTCC (well, by Nasir, Peter, Adrian and I, anyway). The Colin Chapman of Karachi secured a few interviews, including with Bryan Herta's lad.

Wonderful pit access in this series, and the track is superb, although the landscape still bears the scars of the ill-fated F1 debacle.

Here are some general shots, and I'll post some on-track images shortly (together with a link to my Flickr page (for those with an image death-wish).

RE: Nasir at Donnington Park
Excellent weekend. The BTCC racing was great. The Formula 4ord and Ginetta was also entertaining. Donington is a great track with good access and friendly staff. We were able to park just a little way away from where that first picture was taken meaning this was the view from the car, commentary on the radio, tablet with live timing, a big screen in view so sit back and watch the race from the comfort of...

RE: Nasir at Donnington Park
This track looks peaceful - probably because it is spread out. It reminds me a little bit like Lime Rock. Was there an AM radio channel with race information?

Dr. Mark, you take excellent photos.

Nasir, we look forward to hearing more from your goodie bag on future podcasts.

Yaaay, was Jenson at the race? I didn't see him in Bahrain, and I noticed a pink Range Rover was at the track.

RE: Nasir at Donnington Park
Many thanks to the F1Weekly members for a wonderful time in Europa - from Louis in Nederland to Mister Brazier, Dr Farrington, and Adrian in England.

Donington is a great track, was good to see BTCC action for the first time. Yes, the track is in Lime Rock-like setting, lush green and fan friendly

Heard some interesting Mansell stories from Richard Dutton of Fortec Racing.

Crossing the pond today (Monday) and hope to record podcast this week.

Thank you again to all for mighty fine time and listening to F1W.
