Fantasy Formula One
I've always wanted to do a fantasy F1 League.

Has anyone done one before, is it easy, is it fun?

Can I make a F1weekly competition?

I know that its a few months until we can start, I just wondered if anyone has any advice Smile

I enjoyed BATracer, I think I was teamed up with you once, and frank.

I seem to remember the Koala Yaaay partnership being strong.

I just dug out my BAT racer login and it still works and I still have Kooltools, whatever they are. I can't find next doors dog though.

I'm up for a session if we can get at least 8 people together.

I can't remember exactly what kooltools was but I know it made a difference if ohad it - from memory you and I made quite a team and we won quite a few races once we got our strategies worked out

RE: Fantasy Formula One
i'd be in for some batracer. i got some emails a little while ago about them changing a bunch of things. i don't know if the new stuff is in addition to what we're used to or a replacement for it.

BATracer Constructors Racing Manager Game

BATracer Constructors runs in the BATracer game engine.

An entirely new game mode to extend BATracer, in which you can design your own car to a high level of detail.

I'm not suggesting we do this, but its a interesting concept

Anyone up for this then? Suggest a category to get us back up to speed.

RE: Fantasy Formula One
we did an f1 series a couple times, but surprisingly, we f1 fans didn't like the f1 series, and favored the spec series.

i like the lemans series. the "mid-engined" series is fun. champcar and sevens would be good choices as well.

i'd be happy to create and manage the game once we get 8 people together. you need at least 8 to make a game, some series require more.

Go for it. Start a series and we'll get 8 along.

If Yaaay has KoolTools do the rest of us need it?

nobody needs kooltools, it just makes it easier. i'd be happy to post my guide if anyone wants it. it will walk you through the entire game.

RE: Fantasy Formula One
okay, i set up the game. we're running short races in le mans gt2 machinery.
here's the link to join the game: http://batracer.com/-cj?&D&72589
the password is beans. you'll need to enter that in the final step of the join game process. make sure you put it in the game password blank, rather than the team password blank.

anyone can feel free to join my team or start their own. two players per team. let's try to pair up rather than having too many teams, as a partner is very helpful when setting up the car.

don't be shy about asking questions. i had to check my own guide on a few things, as it's been so long.

RE: Fantasy Formula One
Do you have to have two people in a team? I'm worried we won't get 8 people together.

RE: Fantasy Formula One
you're not required to have two people to a team, but anyone who does have a partner will be at a significant advantage. it takes two people to get the car setup.

RE: Fantasy Formula One
I suppose if we have trouble getting enough people then we all go into single teams then we will all have the same situation

RE: Fantasy Formula One
4 teams of 2 should be enough to be fun. if we can't get 8 people, we can't play; the game won't let us.
