Best part about having a soft shell crab sandwich is that it's delicious.
The second best part about having a soft shell crab sandwich is that it looks awesome with the legs sticking out of the bun.

Ugh.

I prefer tarantula sandwiches.

RE: How I love to live in the counrtyside.
While on our recent Northern Cali holiday we spent a happy day being driven round some fine wineries in the Russian River Valley. One highlight was co-inciding at one establishment with a visit by a highly classy (well, in most cases) local classic car club.

What are those last two cars, they are gorgeous.

I just looked at the pictures in the album, your photo eye is even better than it was, they are some mighty fine pictures.

Thank you - the benefits of a mis-spent old age...

Our Leader has ID'd correctly. I'm not sure what that ghastly R4 is doing there, though.

I've just been processing some street shots from San Fran and I'll put a few up shortly: I think people may find some of them amusing. Or nostalgic.

Mark

Thanks for the ID, none in RHD I suspect. I am looking for something.

If I had a R4 i'd paint it like that.

The later model Corvairs are nicer and don't have the VW style swing arm rear axles

All of this lot were taken in a couple of hours on Haight Street, San Francisco.

Hippie Central in 1968, now faded, but with some wonderful characters around so now Street Photography heaven.

I just got extorted A$41 to renew my annual subscription to the F1 app - is it worth it? - questionable .... and each year I decide not to renew only to weaken as the first race draws near as I did this year.

At least this year 50% of the cost was paid by "google rewards"

I've been in the countryside and have seen rural things there.
Like this crowd who have gathered in the anticipation of a spectacle.

Excellent.
Blowtorch, heavy and old machinery and a complete lack of personal protective equipment.
Ideal Country Pursuit.

RE: How I love to live in the counrtyside.
Many things in the world of old and heavy machinery can be carried out with the aid of a large hammer.
This extends, in the case of some old tractors, to starting them. Just take a blank cartridge, screw it in to the cylinder and hit it with a hammer.

That applies to a number of people I know, together with most of the UK's political establishment.

In countryside news, we've upgraded our camping trailer to full on glamping!

My work laptop won't let me use tinpic now that we have a competent IT director, so hopefully I attached a pic to this.
