I just had a great curry in a local india-Goa restaurant. Home-made curry with fresh spices and herbs, not packed stuff!

I am a curryholic. Don't make me choose between Curry and F1. Best races are US, Canada, Brazil as they are all evening races and I can watch F1 while eating curry.

Oh, my, I'm salivating again. Miguel, I need more detail. Do they have a web site?

Koala, I realise it's breakfast time for you, but ever had a curry for breakfast?

There are approximately 60,000 public houses in the United Kingdom, with one in almost every village. In many places, especially in villages, a pub can be the focal point of the community, playing a similar role to the local church

I'm sure the above has some relevance to something but quite what escapes me at the moment.

You'l probably find that the days of one pub per village are on the way out with pubs closing on a daily basis. Then again you could go to Bavaria where they have almost one brewery per village, never mind pub.

My buddy lives in Derbyshire area, in a wee village & there's something like 4 public houses, although I think one of them only opens every once in a while.

I didn't know he owed a pub - does he ever show up there or is it purely a passive investment - is it themed?

Saw him this morning, he was off on his bike. There is little evidence of him in there, a few photo's, Red Bull stuff everywhere that's all. Here is the pub's website
http://www.ilmaschio.com/

Google "mark webber stag mentmore" and there's lots of stories, but this is the most blantant advert going.

Tricky so much repressed rage - I recommend going off the curry for a few weeks, some herbal tea and salads.

I loved the sound of the cocktail recipe I saw at that page.
The "Rocktail" : Red Bull, strawberry puree, passionfruit (or as we call it back home~ lilikoi), vodka, lime...I think that was all....YUM!

RE: How I love to live in the counrtyside.
I forgot to mention, he takes his bike riding wearing Renault colours in blue and yellow. Now, of course he is powered by them, but I thought I'd remind everyone that Renault is based about 35 miles from here, in England - Clark, Renault are based in England, apart from the couple of engine bolts Viry supply, it's an English car.
