Wink Désirée is coming to the UK!
Attention British Weeklies, F1Weekly's F1 Femme Fatale will be flying from Honolulu, Hawaii to Manchester, GB for a whirlwind tour of Derbyshire and Beyond.

Let's plan a Meet & Greet!

I will be there in the week around Valentine's Day 2014. (Boarding with a bloke that has a Ferrari tattoo). ;^)

You should get a sporty car and drive 'Snakes Pass' too fast.

In all seriousness its quite a dangerous road so might not be the best option - and probably a bit boring in a automatic (or can you handle gear sticks?!)

Nice Pub on snakes pass

I've requested to see the McLaren Technology Centre! Woking!
My bloke mate lives in Hope Valley.
Dr. Mark? I hoped you would chime in...

Just noticed this Cool

I've been to the Hope valley several times http://www.simonbray.co.uk/gallery/

I may be in the Caribbean that week, but we should plan a get-together.

I thought Tricky ditched the Mondeo for a Merc long ago.

The Mondeo is still the ultimate driving experience.

Has anyone checked out the new look model?

Ford is stopping local production of cars in Australia in 2015 - I assume the Mondeo will be the main Ford Falcon replacement down here though nothing has been formally announced as far as I know

The Mondeo is just re-badged as the Ford Fusion in North America...which is what they go NASCAR racing with. How is it at turning right Tricky?

The Mondeo is a sharp looking car. I've always been a fan of the design. A coworker drives the Mercury badged version (Mercury Milan) and it's sharp looking. Never driven one though.

RE: Désirée is coming to the UK!
I'm sure F1weekly forum can all chip in and buy you one as a wedding present.

They are very competitively priced in comparison to the Masda MX5, otherwise known as a hairdressers car.

The Mondeo is a 'dream' to drive, with the perfect blend of performance and practicality. Now that JJ and LL are married there is no denying that a new born is forthcoming and I don't want the 'son or daughter of F1weekly' being chauffeured in anything other then the best - the Ford Mondeo (UK Import, non of this Fusion crap)

that list of awards is ludicrously puffed up by the authoritative sounding organization "what car?"

I'm not going to lie, if a little one was on the way and I needed to trade in the MX5, I'd probably take a look at the Fusion/Mondeo.

If my car wasn't paid off, I have a feeling LL would be pressuring me to trade it in now for something more practical, albeit less fun.
