Not a good year luck wise - hopefully his luck will change when he straps on a Porsche

I'm sure the "bad luck" brigade also this his grid penalty for a third punishable offence was bad luck as well.

It's funny how Vettel has been "lucky" enough to be at the front and out the way of potential incidents for most of the season.

RE: Webber's Luck
Happens every year. Webber has been lucky to still score points.

Didn't Shumacher retire from 7 races last year?

RE: Webber's Luck
Although Seb ignored team orders to not pass Mark, now that he has the title wrapped up, he will graciously slow down to allow Mark's pass.

RE: Webber's Luck
i don't think a gt3 is going to translate much to the lmp1 work ahead of him. his red bull f1 car is closer.

The trouble is he'd have to let a few others past first before Mark caught him.

Closer, but probably not as technologically advanced.

i would say almost certainly not. f1 (thanks to foolishly cow-towing to the rabble) has fought to push back technology for many years now. le mans continues to embrace new technology. f1 is only the pinnacle of motorsport in terms of money.
