2013 Prediction Competition.

RE: 2013 Prediction Competition.
I see Yaaay has found a new optimistic pick for 10th after Heikki is no longer on the grid.

Either that or he's expecting one of the more traditional Australia races with carnage and half the field retiring.

I must have left that in after testing it. I meant to put Hammy there so I could score points from his suffering.

Lots of you spreading your bets over Ferrari, McLaren and RBR.

RE: 2013 Prediction Competition.
"Mr Whitmarsh is grateful for the touching faith in his motor racing team shown by the nostalgic members of F1Weekly, but regrets that he has no option but to do the decent thing and self-immolate in the pitlane at 0800 tomorrow morning. Thank you."

I suggest we run a separate sweepstake on which laps the Mercs are going to go out on Sunday, and whether its due to brakes, hydraulics or aero.

Regards,
Mark

'fraid you've lost me there on that one.

I certainly remember one Singapore race all too well, but that was lap 14 if I remember it correctly Rolleyes

Well, perhaps we lost eachother. I was referring to Hamilton's gearbox issue while leading the race from pole. After looking at several websites with a consensus of lap 23, I'll bow to them. Big Grin

Rather fitting indeed. Smile Dunno if he still has the Angry Birds Star Wars sponsorship or if it was a team deal for last season only. If he did, I'd say he went Wookie Bird on the field yesterday. Big Grin

Yeah - I see Ponte's gone for the wet-weather setup Big Grin

According to my weather app you may be right for quali, but the race should be dry...

Interesting that no one picked Hamilton or Rosberg for the podium.
