Practice has already started...

Late entry is no barrier to success or failure. Yaaay was soundly beaten by several people who missed early rounds. I also think not changing your picks has led to significant point hauls for a few people.

Yaaay should fix that by manipulating the numbers.

Just type here what you want, it's simple enough for you, even though you are wearing shorts to the office.

Ah, I didn't notice that...

Pole - Vettel
Podium (in order): Vettel, Button, Webber
10th: Massa
Fast Lap: Vettel

And my mom taught me better than wearing shorts to work, the Belly Button Pirate is wearing them, not me. I chose smart khaki pants.

At least he waits until it's 80 degrees. We have an engineer here that wears shorts any day it isn't snowing.

That seems less than presentable. They threatened to kill casual Fridays bc people were getting a little too casual here. Most people got the hint, but there are only about 5 people in our office today, so everyone is in cabana outfits now.

Our entire organisation is generally pretty casual. All the engineers are casual every day as they don't deal with customers. Even when they do the customers they work with are site engineers, so even then casual is appropriate as long as it's appropriate to the site. Generally we provide company logo's shirts for when staff are on site, but they would only be t-shirts or a polo shirt.

Isn't that the truth?!?! But honestly most of my office had a pretty big deadline yesterday, and usually the day after a deadline is pretty empty. The five that are here are only here b/c our next deadline isn't until May, but none of us are working. The guy in the office next to me is watching some sort of sailing race on his laptop, and the girl in the office across from me is playing Words with Friends against me. In a few minutes we will probably all be watching the NCAA tourny.

We rarely see clients, the last time I did was on a Friday in February, when I was in the office in jeans, but it was a surprise visit and they were also wearing jeans. Most people still dress for work mon - thurs, and if a client was coming in we would be in jackets and ties.

We're a manufacturing/engineering based company in rural Nova Scotia. It's a surprise if anyone can even find us half the time!! In general the office staff dress for work Mon-Thu and do casual Friday, we don't do ties though, that's pretty much against company policy.

That's a resounding vote of confidence for Jenson to show Lewis the way again.

RE: 2012 Prediction Competition.
We are fairly relaxed - the operational staff wear uniform but office staff generally smart casual.

I think I have only worn a suit & tie a couple of times this year - there has been a fairly large dress code change in recent years by my observation down here - it used to be that ties were the "done thing" but that is gradually disappearing with the tie being worm much less in office environments compared to years ago which is a good thing in my book - - a collar done up with a piece of coloured cloth tied around your neck is insane down here in the middle of summer but peer pressure & workplace dress codes used to make people wear them

I think Frank's a Hamilton fan because I'm not, and he's not a Button fan because you are. Or, maybe that was last year?

Are you falling for this egging on, Frank? Hello?

RE: 2012 Prediction Competition.
i'm not much for the prediction stuff. just doesn't seem like fun to me. i don't play fantasy sports either.

i'm not a hamilton fan, but i do think he's an elite driver and the rabble's irrational hatred of him clouds its judgment in that regard.
i'm not a button fan, but i do think he's a good driver and a good teammate.
i'm more and more thinking i am a mclaren fan, though.

FL) hamilton
P) hamilton

and i'll commit to the whole season on that, as a sign of good will to whom i'm on the verge of declaring my favorite team.
