McLaren ECUs not working well in Indycar
"Chevrolet and Honda tested with their own ECUs prior to the distribution of the McLaren units, and since it became mandatory, talk of the McLaren boxes reacting oddly during testing has been going on for more than a month.

Multiple incidents have been reported where engine damage or outright failures have been caused by random software glitches, and although the most recent ECU software revision for was deployed for this week’s testing, the intermittent bugs have apparently continued to strike. confirmed that Honda suffered three failures of varying degrees at Sebring, with Franchitti’s two engines losses on Thursday accounting for his limited running, and Rahal’s motor issues on Friday keeping him off track altogether.

The other three Honda-engined cars ran without problems."

I wonder if The Chipster is messing around with ECUs looking for more speed because he knows Chevy will be fastest in St. Pete?
