American Le Mans Series Racing
Yesterday's ALMS race on the streets of Baltimore was fantastic! An estimated 150,000 people were there, the grandstands were filled, the streets were filled, the vendors were doing great business, and everything was orderly.

My oldest daughter and I drove up in the Ferrari and parked in the Car Corral for car club members - Corvette, Aston Martin, Lamborghini (a black Aventador was there), Ferrari, Jaguar, BMW, and Porsche clubs.

The Le Mans cars, drivers, and crew were easily accessible for the fans. No egos showing- full appreciation for fan interest.

I'm looking forward to this next year! Congrats to Dyson Mazda, too!

Nascar owns Grand Am, competitor to ALMS, and Watkins Glen is owned by International Speedway Corporation (owns Nascar). So, don't hold your breath...

Ayup...from the Grand-Am site: "GRAND-AM was acquired by NASCAR Holdings in late 2008 and operates now as one organization, with resources such as marketing, research and public relations fully integrated into the NASCAR framework."

Have a nice day Smile

i generally have a live-and-let-live-while-pointing-and-laughing philosophy about nascar, but this might change that.

My Petit LeMans tickets and in-field parking pass came in last week. Should be a good event this year, as always!
