I really picked Vettel, really I did. Anyway Webber would have won if Vettel hadn't got the good front wing

Thank you Mr. Yaaay. I am sure alll will calm down after I get lazy and stop participating. Only 5 more protests and I'll be in first place!

Will anyone believe me if I say I also had Hamilton on the podium and not Heidfeld?

Nah, didn't think so.

Rosberg tweeted something about giving surfing another go a few hours ago...
Or it's about longevity in a sport, Slater is in his 22nd surfing world tour season, Rubens "only" his 19th F1 season.
Or it's because Lewis wanted to go on slicks in the rain last year, surely some surfing involved there.

What about Michael Schumacher? Because Kelly Slater is 10th time championship on the ASP World championship and Michael Schumacher won 9 titles in Formula 1.

RE: Prediction Competition 2011
Okay... these were my cryptic messages, so obviously everybody missed Kelly Slater's interview when he won his 8th championship. He retired from surfing, and came back and I think he won his championship in the second season back (not sure I don't follow surfing). He did an in interview and mentioned that no one in international sports has achieved what he has achieved, and specifically pinpointed Schumacher's 7 championships and Armstrongs 7 tour de France victories. I thought this was seen by many people. That's how I heard of Kelly slater and couldn't name you one other surfer, so I thought this would be easily known. Tongue

I was wrong.

I was disappointed since discussing it on the podcast, none of the hosts have joined in.

What say we make up an entry for Clark?

I think the forum would be busier if they were more regular poster hint hint, Though Nasir is pretty good with giving us tidbits, and Clark greets everyone. This leaves Steve...

We can have a standard entry for him:
1. Heidfeld
2. Petrov
3. Alonso

10. Noname Jr.

FL Heidfeld
PP Heidfeld

Off the top of my head.

Phil Taylor - 15 World Championships
Dougie Lampkin - 12 World Champioships

I'm sure there are others

He still has a way to go to claim that nobody has achieved what he has.

First reaction: Who and who???

After looking them up: This is about sports. Remove the darts guy please.

Lampkin apparently had 7 indoor and 5 outdoor championships. To me that sounds like having separate champions for street circuits and race circuits.

Furthermore, I believe the point is getting a championship after a comeback.

It's no different to other sports stars that have championships in multiple events. Agostini had titles in different classes. Rossi has 9 world Titles if you count his 125cc and 250cc titles.

The indoor and outdoor Trials Championships require different skills and are very different events, I see no reason to discount them. Also, Darts is a sport, however much you want to argue against it. Phil Taylor was in the top contenders for Sports Personality of the year, if the BBC count it I will as well. It still requires the time and effort to practice and be good at it.

Titles after comebacks aren't unique either. Plenty of Boxers do it. It sounds a bit like he is just being arrogant and ignorant at the same time to me.

This is a minefield.

Right, new rule.

Entries can only be "obvious who it's meant to be" and "funny".

Fortunately I am easily amused.

Does this mean if we send an entry that isn't funny it doesn't count?
