RE: F1 2010 Videos
the side-by-side is really amazing.

i read an interview with a developer where he said they stuck with 30 fps (instead of going for 60) because they thought it was more important to keep the frame rate rock-solid, which i think is right. he also mentioned that they sent people to the tracks and took 360 degree panorama shots every few meters all the way around each one to use as reference shots.

i can't wait.

RE: F1 2010 Videos
Isn't 24fps somewhere around the fastest the human eye can comprehend anyway?

So what benefit would 60fps actually have?
OK, just read the wiki on Frame rates, that explains why I can't read the subtitles on some shows on my TV.

RE: F1 2010 Videos
people often make too big a deal of frame rate in games, but it does make a difference.

RE: F1 2010 Videos
Slow down is more of an issue for me, especially in racing games where you are trying to hold a line and then things start slowing mid corner.

RE: F1 2010 Videos
i agree, that is very annoying, especially when the ai drivers don't feel it.
