Australian
First one is from the V8 Supercar round in Sydney last December - love the kid in the background.
Second is from the paddock at this year's GP in Melbourne - love the curves, the classic lines. At least one of them would be relatively cheap to run and give you relatively few problems. Relatively...

RE: Australian
Easy mistake to make. Astons actually have full wings on their quaint ar*e. Grid girls for the Aus GP, sponsored by Qantas, do have a small Qantas logo, a kangaroo, on the lower rear of the shorts. Hope this clears it up. (The official GP uniforms were totally horrid. So bad, I didn't take any photos of them at all, other than in the background during the podium presentation. Wish I did now, because it will be one of those "do you remember" moments, or the winning photo in a couple of years in the "worst ever grid girls uniform". Watched MotoGP this morning. MotoGP know how to present grid girls, even in the modesty-laden Middle East they were looking very good.)

Close. I'm on the left standing slightly turned to the right (my right) trying to look like I know how to photograph beautiful models..... from the 60s. The guy circled has a TV camera on his shoulder.

It's an Aston Martin DB3 Zagato, right? Or DB4, but I'm pretty sure it'a a Zagato body. Lovely car.

I like good looking cars, too.

Not sure; I'm not an A-M afficionado. As with the other 20 in the background, I don't look to closely at what I can't afford to maintain.

Are you referring to the girls in the background cause NONE of them would be cheap and relatively few problems! But I sure would like to own one or two... Oh and FRIGG'n beautiful car.

Hell no I'm not referring to the girls. 20 of the Astons would cause less headaches than 1 of them. I'm sure they're all lovely girls, but they aint maintenance free. Not like us easy going, straight forward men.

Why do our grid girls always have to look crap?

This is what they should be wearing

Those girls look good in the pic, but some of them didn't look some good in flesh - way too muhc bad make up and bad fake tans, and the one-size-fits-all pants didn't suit all of them. And none of the promo girls looked older than 20. Although the grid girls wear less revealing outfits, they're far classier women. A few of them are QANTAS staff.

The Johnnie Walker girls were the best promo girls I saw. They were very young though [my girls are 18 and 15, so girls aged 19 I now consider to be "very young" Sad ]

I've been to you need to apply early. It's a fairly tough process. It's probably no conicidence that current flight crew are some of the selected girls. You can also try and be a grid girl for the support categories. None of the support girls looked like they were from a modelling agency- they all struggled to walk in heels.
