RE: Who Will Win The 2013 WC
for me, this is between vettel and lewis. they're the only top drivers in top cars that they are already familiar with. i give a slight edge to the hamster.

edit: whoa, totally misread the title. i was thinking picking this year's winner was a big enough punt. i'll stick with my answer, but obviously the rationale no longer holds.

Danica. After winning the Nascar championship in 2012, she will set her sights on F1 and dominate the field in 2013. (not)

Kimi'll have a quick return to F1 after winning the WRC and retire after winning the F1 Championship again.
Must be time to wake up?

RE: Who Will Win The 2013 WC
After a disappointing 2010 season, McLaren finds itself in a rut, each car seeming worse and worse. At the end of 2012, they decide to pull out, leaving a partially-finished 2013 car. All hope seems lost, until a few members of the team and some investors decide to back a new, McLaren-based team. The new car is highly competitive, due to a loophole in the rules, because apparently people still can't just write what they mean in those things.

Button goes on to win another WDC, but would probably have given that up if he could've spent the rest of his life without people talking about what a lucky bad driver he is.

RE: Who Will Win The 2013 WC
Zsolt Baumgartner will make a stunning return in the now partially Ikarus owned Campos team. They'll have Hungarian engineered engine and designed by some other Budapest genius. It will run in a rubiks cube livery.

Kubica will be his number two driver, so with Colin Kolles it will be the Eastern block that will topple Stefan GP, eastern block pretenders, powered by the Trabant badged Toyota engine.

RE: Who Will Win The 2013 WC
How exactly would a rubik's cube livery work?

Ooh, as they get closer to winning WDC, would they switch it up so more and more of the sides were one-color?

I'd totally stan that team, then.

Except a livery change would require approval from every team, and Williams would say no. Smile

Aw, Williams, wth! They're just jealous of the awesome rubik's livery. Maybe they could find a loophole involving that paint that changes color in the sunlight? Or something to do with blacklights....

Not that it matters, because Whitmarsh GP is going to blow everyone else out of the water ^.^

I am slow tonight, I only just got it that Ernő Rubik was a Hungarian. I thought Ribik was code for Rob Kubica.

RE: Who Will Win The 2013 WC
I'll personally bribe Frank to vote yes every race for the livery change, but I think the design will be done in a way so that it changes every lap, so not only will Zsolt drive the thing, he'll also try to solve it. This will be a solution for the lack of overtaking. Us purists will enjoy the fact there'll be a procession on the track, and the people wanting excitement will see Zsolt and Robert try to solve a puzzle while racing.

Yaaay, I think the Rubik Cube is the only legitimate Hungarian thing I can think that everybody agrees being a Hungarian invention.

Most claims are a bit suss to me.

Here's the list of things Hungarians claim to invent:
Computer
atom bomb
Matches
discovering Vitamin C

Funny fact Gene Simons is Hungarian and speaks it too! Drew Barrymore's Mum is also Hungarian, but she don't speak it.

Anyways, may aswell go and spread the Ikarus F1 rumor. But first some coffee the cure my hangover and kill the beer taste in my mouth.

I'm totally behind the solving it idea. Hell, all the teams could have to have different puzzle games as their livery. Of course, I wouldn't envy the people that got a Lemarchand's box....

Crossing my fingers that the Ikarus F1 rumor takes off, it would be too fun to watch Wink

There was no "Sato" option, so I just went with the Vettel.

2013:

Renault have gone as a team, and the team becomes a Toleman again. Fitted with the all new Cosworth engine it blasts away the opposition. Drivers Petrov and Kubica split the wins between them, creating an iron curtain from the rest of the field. In an exciting last race around the new Moscow circuit Petrov clinches the title on home ground. Extra marshalls were employed to clear away snow and ice from the track................
