Ogier to M-Sport (Still no Ford backing...yet), Latvala to Toyota, Citroen back after a partial year while they did development, no VW. WRC 2017 looks like being an interesting season after 13 years of dominance by someone called Sebastian.

The cars even look a bit more interesting this year.

So it was still Sebastian that won, but the event was far more interesting than previous seasons.

Hyundai looked set for the victory until Thierry Neuville ran into trouble and Ogier inherited the lead, which he didn't have the pace to take. The conditions made it a more traditional Monte with stages covered in a mix of snow/ice/dry tarmac.

The new cars look really fast on the little bit of dry road running they got this time, and probably the closest we've seen to Group B since it was banned. I think they are running 380bhp this year and much more aggressive aero.

There's even good TV coverage for free through the Red Bull channel on Apple TV and I think through their website.
