Crazy race with lots of pitting and passing. Well done, mclaren and Canada.

Hamilton rather pleased, Vettel rather less so.
One Herr Schumacher certainly can't be accused of not defending his place at any cost can he? I wonder what the stewards will think of all this, entertaining though it was.

Tyres that only last a third distance is all this sport needs.

A good race. A lot of position changes. Tight racing up and down the grid. Proves once again that tires are nearly everything. Real surprise was the Button pass on Alonso.

Canada always provides interesting races, even when the interest lies mainly in the tire strategies,
Welcome back, CIrcuit Gilles Villeneuve, we missed you last year.

64 pit stops later Hoonilton wins in Macca 1-2 despite unsafe pit release............. dodgy qualifying run. Stewards have busy race while conveniently ignoring Hammi's race indiscretion. Jense suddenly slows despite Hamiltons rooted tyres, funny that? Team orders, naaah.... Ferrari with Fred are kinda back, Massa pulls off fab overtake without Rob Smedley telling him how to. Schumi, just a tiny bit naughty in the race was mugged by both Force Indias on last lap. Red Bull race strategy fatally flawed. Welcome back Kanadia

Fun, exciting race to watch! I didn't fast forward through anything except the commercials. Well done McLaren!

Montreal deservedly on the calendar again. Mai Oui! Lewis took Pole, then the Race. Tres Bonne! McLaren 1-2 and in the top spot. Bien Sur! $10K Fine? Who Cares?! Clark est là, dans la plus belle ville -il est si chanceux! Vive le Quebec! (No Podcast this week - tres mal!).

Somehow I thought the race was 3pm my local time. Thank goodness my DVR saved me. Hamilton and Alonso's duel was exciting. Almost saw a repeat of Vettel and Hamilton on the mid-race pit exit with Hamilton and Alonso. Watching Shumacher trying not to be passed by all was entertaining too.

Jenson laps his old car from last year, being driven by an old legend........he he he. Great race though. Well done Canada

Very Good Race. I would like to announce my departure from the forum in the coming weeks due to work commitments. I plan to continue listening to F1weekly on my travels and I want wish all the staff at F1weekly a very happy summer.

Great race, even better F1W meetup at the pub. What was Webber thinking staying on those tires?

A picturesque circuit which produced a race with a lot of interest. McLaren have picked up their pace ....... are they now the team to beat?.
Valencia in 2 weeks is a much tighter circuit - which might suit the Red Bulls more - the best season for a long time so far.

Wild race! I still don't think I care for tyre-management races any more than I care for fuel-management races. Can't we just let the drivers drive the cars and see who wins?

Another McLaren 1-2. Nando remembers what its like to finish on the podium. Red Bull makes the wrong call on tyres times 2 . Schuey up to his old tricks tries to run Kubica & Massa off the road, then gets passed by 2 Force India's and scores zilcho points.

Bravo Bravo Bravo Montreal! We dont need rain, just crap tyres! Best race of the year. P.S. Remind me never to buy Bridgestone.

Vettel proves that Red Bull should make Webber number 1 now, what was he thinking about asking about fastest lap times when he was nursing a car to the finish, he clearly doesn't have the maturity to win a title?!

The F1 circus has many great corners: Eau Rouge, Stowe, Parabolica, Rascasse. However, there's only one corner that rises above all others for notable offs: Montreal's chicane and subsequent "Wall of Champions."
Future champ Krazy Kamui Kobayashi just couldn't contain his excitement and had to give that wall a kiss on lap one!!!

On edge tyres provide great excitement, bravo bridgestone
Massa and Luizzi race nascar style
Kobayashi visits the wall of champions
Mclaren get their 3rd 1-2 finish
Coulthard thinks its 1967 as he tries to analyse Emerson Fittipaldi's race
Red Bull gets it wrong again ha ha ha
