Click on the login button (without entering anything), it will take you to the signup page.
That is waaay to obvious. Turns out I already signed up.
I'm sure there's also a hidden pixel somewhere, but I couldn't find it, even in the source code.
Should be an interesting race, not used to starting the season outside of Florida.

Newman Hass Lanigan used "2" and "6" in Champ Cars.
When they moved over to IndyCars, those numbers were already taken.
So the league allowed them to add a "0" in front of their number.
I agree, it's quite stupid....something Nascar would do.
Nascar only does it because there are so many cars on the track that they ran out of numbers.

actually this is perfectly in line with how this sham of a recing series has been run for the last..... 15 + years or so.

no surprises there.

#19 To Be Announced Boy Scouts America/Dale Coyne Racing

I gather you are not a fan of Tony G? Big Grin

Well, he's gone. No longer part of IMS, no longer CEO of IndyCars, heck he doesn't even have funding for his stepson's ride.

There are some good news.
There is a new CEO, who is a total outsider. So hopefully he has some good ideas.
There is IZOD title sponsor, which is always good to have
Recent Dallara, Swift, Lola, Deltawing, and BAT chassis proposals show that maybe the next car will be relevant. At least more interesting than the current Dallara.
There are now more Road races than ovals. By next year, schedule might be 12 road and 6 ovals.
Taku races in IndyCars. Banzai Taku!
Where are the American drivers? Maybe that's why nobody watches this sport. Americans don't watch it because there isn't any Americans racing, the rest of the world is watching F1.
Anybody watching?
I'm on skype for voice or text chat
Taku got loose in the very first turn of first lap and caused a chain reaction crashes.
Mario Moraes's car landed on top of Marco Andretti's car.
Multiple cars out.
Wow, that sounds much more interesting than what we saw at Bahrain...
Shame we can't watch it over here.
The online stuff doesn't seem to work.
After the first lap pile up, things stayed fairly constant. Early on Dario Franchitti led followed by Alex Tagliani. Tagliani later had to retire when he was punted from behind by Dan Wheldon. In the middle of the race, monsoon rain fell forcing a ref flag condition for 30 minutes

When green flag resumed, half the cars gambled on slick tires while other half remained on full wet.
Slick tire was the right choice as the track dried rather quickly.

Ryan Hunter-Reay was leading for the most part in the second half of the race until he was overtaken by Ryan Briscoe.
Hunter-Reay then hounded him constantly and forced Briscoe to make a mistake. Briscoe broke late in the braking zone and crashed into the tire barrier.

After that was cleaned up, it was Will Power who hounded Hunter-Reay and took the lead with 2 laps to go.
Meanwhile, Vitor Meira took 3rd away from fellow Brazilian Raphael Matos.

As for the ladies, Simona de Silvestro lead 4 laps in her maiden debut but her car later suffered mechanical problems and finished 3 laps down.
Highest women finisher was Ana Beatriz.

Podium
1. Will Power
2. Ryan Hunter-Reay
3. Vitor Meira.
I started watching but got bored and sleepy after 20 laps.
Watched what was supposed to be quali yesterday, seems they had major grip problems, race was DVR'd so I will watch soon.
i just caught the highlights of this race on espn. somehow, takuma sato's name was pronounced "takumo soto." silly foreigners, why are they racing in 'merica?

Does anybody have a link to an audio webcast of the race? Last year Incycar.com had an archive section but it does not seem to be there this year.

They podcast all radio broadcasts that they play on XM. If you go to the iTunes store and search Indycar is the fourth hit you get.
