I'm seriously thinking about purchasing a new hedge trimmer as mine is electric and I feel I need the benefits a petrol powered machine can bring.

I've seen this machine, which has multiple attachments, Ryobi Petrol Brush Cutter, Pruner, Tiller, Hedge Trimmer.

However, I am wary of such multi-purpose tools and they are often a compromise and not an optimal tool for each job.
I'd like to suggest Agent Orange
Once sprayed..............
Job over for the next decade or so............... leaving more time to watch GP practices and more important things.Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

I agree Yaaay, they do seem to be a bit of a compromise, but you can't deny the space savings. I would say that if each tool gets light use then you could opt for the multi, but if say your hedge trimmer gets used more than average, then you could be in store for a problem. Light use and lack of storage space would make this a good choice I think.
I don' know what JJ is doing in this threat - he dont have a garden!
TD makes a good point, don't listen to me.

I didn't take any but my buddy Will and my friend Lindsey (from the famous picture of the ladies that Jackson works with) both did some snapping. Lindsey is going to bring over her camera tonight to give me some photos so I will be posting them soon. Luckily there are no pictures of me in a foot cast!
Move your computer into your bedroom.....
None of the above has anything to do with garden implements, however alluring the prospect of pictures of Lindsey may be (is she the tall blonde?).

I've seen these multi purpose thingamajigs and I wouldn't go near them. Inevitably you're going to end up with a collection of tools which don't really do any job properly.

Although storage space is not lacking, I am at the point of effecting a purchase. I may regret it, but I will report back in due course.

...with pictures of broken implements

JJ provides the fuel for her engine.
Which one is Lindsey?

I think she is the hot sexy blonde fro Wilmington, NC, and she is just 25 years old!

Second from the left.

Try again, which one is Lindsey?

The one with straight hair.
And the correct answer is....the one to the left in the brown shirt.

TD- are you picking girls off of my Myspace page? Here is a hint, the only one in that picture from Wilmington, NC is the dark haired one and none are 25...
I got so bored waiting for the ski pictures, I went and brought this

I hope you are satisfied.

No.

Ski pictures featuring the lovely Lindsey would have been preferred. My theory is that Lindsey's visit to Jackson gave him more than he bargained for and all thoughts of pictures were forgotten.

That contraption is powered by a two stroke engine which is the spawn of Satan.
I thought the general consensus was that the Dark haired girl was the one that we decided was for Jacko provided she gave up smoking and if not the girl in the brown shirt (Lindsey) provided she had her hair done --- besides didn't Barbie have a jealous boyfriend? now I am confused.
Okay, so congrats to Jackson, seems that the lovely Lindsey is cooking him dinner tonight for Valentines day. Before anyone gets all gushy, it's just a friends thing (to me anyway, not so sure about her). I will make her bring the camera tonight and I promise I will post pictures soon.

So you decided to go with the interchangable tools? Have you tried them out yet? We need a full report.
I've only ordered them, I will promise a full review and report in due course.

Did you ever try the "fake death after eating doughnut" tactic?
I tried, but I found that I am no actor. Sad

I don't know Jacko - A cute girl like her coming over to cook dinner for you on Valentines day - I think that qualifies for a degree of "gushy"
